A New Way of Hiring Hidden Messages in Website Code

Well you may be at an advantage when it comes to finding hidden job vacancies that arent being advertised widely. Traditional job hunting is all good and well, but you must face a great deal of competition if you choose to take this route. Employers also have to test out different ways of advertisig jobs if they want to sift through the hoards of job seekers and identify the top candidates amongst all the noise. One method that a few of the top global firms have been testing out is leaving secret hiring messages within their website code. You can check out a websites source code by visiting their homepage, right clicking and selecting view page source. Though a lot of the code may look like a load of gobbledoogook to you if you are not familiar with coding, some businesses are including more obvious messages within the code. Bay Are Resume Writing - Start Organizing Yourself
Bay Are Resume Writing - Start Organizing YourselfIf you are like most people who have lost their job in the last year, you've probably been bombarded with 'boot camp' resume writing by hiring managers. Many of the tactics employed to get a person to apply for a job are likely used on new employees as well. Boot camp resume writing techniques will attempt to help you overcome the first hurdle that you will encounter when applying for a new job.In a nutshell, boot camp resume writing is all about getting applicants to think in new ways. The goal is to take the rigidity of rigid resume writing and move it to an entirely different format. People will be much more open to your letter if they feel they have an opportunity to be creative and they can be aware of their own personal qualities and talents. In order to get this point across you must emphasize your personal qualities and talents so that applicants know that you are the best candidate for the job. Then you can use these personal qualities to paint a picture for your letter that others will appreciate. One of the first things you will need to do is organize yourself. You will need to determine what the strengths and weaknesses of your professional life are. Take a look at your career, a summary of your career (these are often included in job applications) and find a way to organize this information into a way that is organized. This can be done by using your goals and values in order to organize the information.Next you need to know what your strengths are. The following skills and abilities can help you succeed in your new position. Be sure to list these in order of importance, then list your weaknesses. At this point you need to be honest and critical of yourself in order to know what needs work. The next step of resume writing, after organizing your personal and professional life, is to begin to list the positive aspects of yourself that will appeal to employers. For instance, your abilities with people can be a great strength. Employers love people who take initiative and who are spontaneous. Your past experiences can also be an asset. Try to list any skills or talents that will benefit the employer. If you want to make your resume stand out from the rest of the crowd, you need to list all of your work experience. Each of these sections should be short and to the point. Do not allow yourself to overwhelm your potential employer with too much information. You should begin with your education and professional skills. Then, if you are familiar with your field, you can expand from there.Remember that no future employer will be impressed with a pile of information that does not contain any value. For this reason, list the different achievements in one place so that your potential employer can see that you are a smart, hard working person who wants to succeed. As well, you want to list your significant accomplishments as quickly as possible. It is important that your employer be able to see your accomplishments before they even start looking at your resume.

Secrets about personality type no one dares to tell you
Secrets about personality type no one dares to tell you Every time I teach a course on a specific personality type, I learn things that blow me away. I learned INTP women look nothing like INTP men. I learned Fs sometimes misidentify themselves as Ts but Ts never mistake themselves for Fs. I learned that INTJ men almost always marry ENFP women. Theres so much valuable knowledge that everyone should email me to get access to all sixteen personality type courses for $1,285 (regular price: $3120). You have two weeks to do this. But thats not actually the point of this post. I was particularly excited for the ENTJ course because Im an ENTJ. And also, every time there was a problem in one of the other classeslack of focus, search for meaning, obsession with detailsI always thought to myself, I cant wait for the course for ENTJs. They will have none of these problems. And thats true. The ENTJs are solely focused on earning money. They have plans, they know their limits, they are realistic but always thinking big. One of the most common questions I get is, I want a great career. How can I be more like an ENTJ? And I was surprised to find that many people in the ENTJ course were there to learn how to think like an ENTJ. I once heard an ENTP ask a new boss, the CEO, Do you know your personality type? And the boss said, Yeah. And I am the only type that makes a good CEO. The result of the smugness of ENTJs is that ENTJs have nothing to talk about. They are great at managing a career and they attract mentors easily because who doesnt want to mentor a rising star? All the rich, powerful mentors are ENTJs looking for younger, upstart ENTJs. And sure, ENTJs dont spend a lot of time dwelling on the emotions of their personal lives, but its okay because they are masters of management when it comes to their personal lives: their kids get the best education, sex is on schedule, and household help is always top-flight. In the ENTJ course (like in every course) I talked about how life becomes more interesting if you understand yourself better and when you understand how people around you react to you and why. The ENTJs did not care, which made me miss the ENFPs and the INFPs. So I focused on career questions, and all the ENTJs wanted to know if they were on track to meet their goals and how to get more people to help them meet their goals. The sessions sometimes felt like human resource bootcamp. Heres a tip to anyone who wants to get the attention of an ENTJ: tell them what to delegate next and who to hire to take on that work. I started thinking about how the intense conflict of work and life is what makes careers interesting, and then I missed the constantly tormented ENFJs torn between work and family. And I missed the endless stream of deep thoughtful questions from the INFJs. Melissa runs a recruiting agency. She recruits by type, and she is always stunned by how amazing the ENTJ candidates are. She tells me about them, and then I have ENTJ remorse. Because Im an ENTJ but clearly Im a bad egg. The twentysomething ENTJs always have perfect resumes, stellar references, and the self-confidence most people dont get until theyre 70 years old. At least Im not boring. Do you know what it takes to be an ENTJ who is not boring? Pain. I was talking about early memories with a friend, whose earliest was having dinner with his parents at a restaurant. He said going out to dinner was rare when he was a kid, so it made an impression. I said my first memory was watching TV with my family when men landed on the moon. It wasnt the men landing on the moon that made an impression so much as that we were watching TV together, which my family never did before or after that night. My youngest son was with us, and he said, My first memory is when Dad pushed you onto the floor. I freeze. Then I say, We went to therapy after that because its not an acceptable way to express anger. And Dad and I learned better ways to show emotion. My son says, I can tell you are lying to me because your voice is shaky. I dont respond. I wasnt lying about going to therapy. I was lying with my tone of voice, trying to say everything is okay. Because its not okay. Im the same person who had a courtship from hell and got married anyway. Im the person who put up with violence a few times without the kids seeing but I didnt leave before the kids saw. I stayed. Im damaged CEO material. Be careful when you look around yourself and you think you see people who have what you want. I do a trick in coaching sessions: you tell me the friend of yours who has a life thats better than yours, and Ill tell you the secret that friend is hiding. I dont know why I know, but I do. And to the people Im coaching, its like magic. As soon as I tell them the secret they say, Youre right. Maybe once you face your own secrets, you can see everyones. ENTJs dont have secrets because they dont care. About anything. Thats what you need to do to have a career thats like an ENTJs. But if you decide to be just you instead, you have to give up the idea that life is easy for someone else. Its not. You would hate someone elses life, with someone elses choices. So instead of wishing you were an ENTJ, embrace the mess that is your life. Its what makes me want to talk to you, and I bet thats true for everyone else as well. Learn about all 16 personality types in a four-day course of irreverent fun and insight.

Well, we cant prove that last one, but we can tell you to what extent your uni is being targeted by top graduate employers. Youve seen them at them at your careers fairs, youve seen their flyers for drop-in sessions on your faculty noticeboard. And theyre always watching. The average employer targets 20 universities when it comes to hiring recently graduated students. But which are the most targeted universities and by who? The good people at High Fliers published a huge report that reveals just that. Here are the headlines. Universities targeted by the largest number of top employers Now this right here might seem a tad surprising. As you can see, the top 5 most targeted universities are Warwick, Manchester, Bristol, Cambridge and Leeds. But just one of them, Cambridge is in the top 5 for The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017. Oxford is, once again, shockingly out of the top 5 after landing at no. 14 on a list of universities producing top executives. So if youre worried about your career prospects because youre not at OxBridge, you really neednt be. Universities targeted by top employers, by industry This lines up pretty well with the rest of High Fliers research, which showed accounting and professional services firms are looking to increase the number of grads they hire. Theyre targeting eleven more universities than the average sector. Just four more industries law, engineering, retail and the public sector targeted more than 20 universities. And the message is clear theyre very keen to hire grads. Do with that information what you will. Download the Debut app and get Talent-Spotted by amazing graduate employers! Hallie specializes in helping recent college grads and boomerangs identify their ideal career paths and make it happen. Visit her site to learn more about Hallie! By Hallie Crawford, MA, CPCC Not happy in your current job? Thinking about making a career change? Dynamic lifestyles and an uncertain economy are just two of many reasons to consider a new occupation, or even an entirely different field than the one youre in now. Trust me; as a career coach who has helped many people reinvent themselves professionally, I can assure you that youre not alone! Maybe youve seen some layoffs at your company and the fear factor has you searching for alternate options and wanting more satisfaction out of your work. Perhaps you crave a more flexible work situation, one that allows you to balance home and career more effectively. Whatever your circumstance, one things for sure: youre unhappy or unsettled in your current job and you want to do something about it. When you start to get the itch, its time to make an assessment and begin to set early goals. You may wonder, am I really ready for a career transition? How can I best prepare myself for a change? But even before you delve into the components of a satisfying career, it helps immensely to cultivate a healthy and positive mental outlook. People who are successful at making a change are the ones who are willing to overcome their fears, doubts and insecurities in order to make it happen. You, too, can be one of these people Keep these preliminary tips in mind before forging ahead on your path to a more fulfilling and rewarding career! 1. Commit yourself to making a change. Something that is incredibly important to any change you make in your life is your level of commitment. You have to be committed. How committed are you to finding a career that fits, on a scale from 1-10? If its not at a 10, what do you need to do to move it up the scale? The time to ask yourself key questions is now. Do your research, so you know what questions to keep in mind. Contact a career expert who can help you become reacquainted with your goals and dreams. Explore career websites. Take personality tests. You will find that the more time you invest in career opportunities and self-discovery, the more committed to the cause youll become. 2. Learn to overcome obstacles. To be successful in changing career paths, you need to learn to overcome obstacles you will encounter along the way. The obstacles I see time and time again for people wanting to make a career change are: not knowing what to look for in a job (so they take one that is good enough that they dont truly enjoy) and negative beliefsnot believing they can successfully make the change. With practice, you can retrain your mind to see past perceived limitations, which are only a figment of your imagination anyway! With sufficient self-exploration, you will be able to pinpoint the exact qualities of the ideal career for you and even the characteristics that you dont want in a career. 3. Get support. I was able to very successfully make my career transition into coaching in large part because of my own coach. She helped me create my plan, remain positive, move forward, identify what I wanted to do and learn to overcome obstacles. Im being honest when I say: It really helps to have support from a group or a coach to remind you to stay positive and focused. 4. Claim your life. My last thought for you is to claim your life. There never is a perfect time to make a drastic career change, and you can always come up with excuses/reasons not to. You do need to take some kind of risk and perhaps step out of your comfort zone. The key is to minimize the risk and be smart about it. Get support from a career coach like me or someone else who can provide solid guidance and the resources you need to move ahead with your plans. Discover the essential components to a satisfying career today! If you know what youd like to do next, but arent sure where to start, Keppie Careers can help.
